Hunters Glen Elementary creates a chain of kindness

In February, during Kindness Week (February 12-16), students who were caught being kind (by other students or staff) were given a paper link. On that link they recorded the name of the person who was kind and what they did, to hang up a paper chain outside of classroom. Our goals was to have it stretch around the school! The picture shows our entire school stretching it around our gym! As you can see, many acts of kindness were done! Special Thank you to Sarah Beth Scott and the Hunters Glen Elementary Social Emotional Learning team for planning and supporting Kindness Week!

Special thanks to the Hunters Glen Elementary community for submitting this Five Star Story.

This story exemplifies our ELEVATE Focus Area: Social-Emotional Learning. Sharing stories about how the district provides innovative social-emotional programming and practices to students across all schools.
