Hunters Glen students develop problem solving skills

🌟 Real-World Problem Solving Comes to Life at Hunters Glen! 🌟

Today, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade GT/Talent Pool students had the incredible opportunity to meet Zohar, a Hunters Glen parent, writer, and researcher, who shared her insights on problem-solving in the real world. Her work explores how problem-solving differs in daily life compared to what students often encounter in the classroom.

Zohar encouraged our students to embrace resilience and to see “wrong answers” not as failures, but as solving a different problem than intended—an invaluable lesson in identifying and navigating complex challenges.

We are so grateful for Zohar’s willingness to inspire our students with her expertise and passion for critical thinking and perseverance!

Special thanks to the Hunters Glen Elementary community for submitting this Five Star Story.

This story exemplifies our ELEVATE Focus Area: 21st Century Learners. Sharing stories of students who collaborate, think critically, problem-solve and are digitally literate to thrive in today’s ever-changing world.
