Social Emotional Learning championed at Hunters Glen

Hunters Glen Elementary shared this Five Star Story for one of their phenomenal staff members in their community:

SaraBeth Scott, our Social Emotional Learning Coordinator, created an SEL Checkout Library at Hunters Glen Elementary. The checkout includes a variety of books and activities to support mindfulness, teach emotional regulation, help students understand their feelings, and encourage them to show empathy and kindness. Teachers can browse and checkout items for classroom use as needed. This system is just another example of how our school creates a positive and nurturing environment for everyone!
