It's an honor to be the Assistant Principal at Hunters Glen Elementary and be a part of this amazing community. I am a Colorado native and attended grades K-12 in the Adams 12 school district. I am also a graduate of Fort Lewis College in beautiful Durango, CO with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. After college I moved home to teach in Adams 12 and attended the University of Colorado Boulder where I earned a Master of Arts in Education degree with an emphasis on Literacy. I've taught a variety of grades from kindergarten throu 3rd grade before transitioning into the role of an Instructional Coach. Literacy is my passion! During my time as an Instructional Coach, I decided to continue my education at DU with with Ritchie Program, earning an administration license.
I live in Thornton with my husband Ben, our three children, and our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks named Memphis and Lily. I enjoy working on projects around the house and being outdoors! I played collegiate level softball at Fort Lewis College ("Go Hawks!") on a scholarship. I am also a huge fan of the Denver Broncos!
I look forward to getting to know each and every student and family. This will be a great year!
