I am originally from New Jersey but have lived in Colorado since 1993. I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis on school-aged children. After graduation, we moved to Steamboat Springs to live the ski bum life. After two years, I decided to go back to school in order to teach. I got my teaching license from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. I am married to my college sweetheart and we have two wonderful children. Jake is 16 and is in eleventh grade and Lily is 14 and is in ninth grade. We live in Louisville.
I have been teaching since 2001 and love it. I have taught fifth grade, fourth grade, and third grade. I have been at Hunters Glen the entire time. I completed my student teaching here at Hunters Glen. When not in school, I like to hang out with my family and friends, hike with my dog, Ozzy, ski, travel, paddleboard, and cook. I also like to read in my spare time.
