I am originally from New Jersey but have lived in Colorado since 1993. I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis on school-aged children. After graduation, we moved to Steamboat Springs to live the ski bum life. After two years, I decided to go back to school in order to teach. I got my teaching license from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. I am married to my college sweetheart and we have two wonderful children. Jake is 17 and is a senior this year and Lily is 15 and is a sophomore. Both of my children attend Monarch High School. We live in Louisville.
I have been teaching since 2001 and love it. I have taught fifth grade, fourth grade, and third grade. I have been at Hunters Glen the entire time. I completed my student teaching here at Hunters Glen. When not in school, I like to hang out with my family and friends, hike with my dog, Ozzy, ski, travel, paddleboard, and cook. I also like to read in my spare time.
